Dear Mr. Bargés Mestres:
The International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) will hold its 19th World Assembly at the Wyndham Hotel, in Palm Springs, California on October 19 - 22, 1998. IAOPA represents more than 400,000 general aviation aircraft owners and pilots in 46 nations worldwide. A Provisional Agenda is attached.
We extend a cordial invitation to you to observe this Assembly and join in the official opening. It may be noted that the only events not open to the public are the Board meetings on Monday, October 19th and Thursday afternoon, October 22nd.
During the World Assembly week, on October 21st at 7:30 a.m., I will meet personally with the Boards of Directors' from AOPA-MEXICO and FEMPPA. We welcome your presence at this meeting, and invite you to express your opinions about the current state of general aviation in Mexico.
If you can accept our invitation, please comfirm your attendance with Mr. Jorge Cornish, President of FEMPPA in Mexico City.
Please note that the AOPA-USA EXPO '98 will be held immediately following the IAOPA World Assembly and you are free to attend all seminars and exhibits. I look forward to seeing you!
